Some of Rich’s free material is worth reading, even rereading. He had a document out a year or two ago where he made the point that people should NOT choose a niche or career based on the biggest possible financial gain, because if that is why they are picking it, then it is NOT likely to make them money. For speaking this essential truth, I’ll give him 3 stars.
BUT Rich is arrogant (yeah, I could deal with that, but it’s irritating) and very inconsistent. There have been statements made on his blog that have not been followed up on. My impression is that he puts out a lot of good information and gets a lot of people excited and then often fails to deliver.
He’s also been known to delete posts from his blog when he doesn’t like what they are saying. He’ll allow some negative posts, I think because it generates a big response from his loyal followers, but I’ve also seen comments go up that are critical and a day later they are gone.
I basically stopped reading his blog a year or more ago, though from time to time I’ll take a peak again. Haven’t seen anything to make me go back to reading it regularly. Seemed like a lot of: Rich pretends to be your friend and offer free advice before trying to sell you personal coaching services at exorbenant rates.
