I always listen when Mike speaks, and based on what I’ve learned from him, I can promise pying attention to Mike has always worth my effort.
I’d give him a 4!
Mike used to be one of my favorite Internet Marketers

Mike used to be one of my favorite Internet Marketers when he was just ’starting’ to make it big. Back then, before the launch of his famous Butterfly Marketing project in 2006 I think it was, he was approachable and friendly. However, ever since he became accepted into the ‘inner circle of old-style gurus’ (who are often outdated in their approach now, and who rarely use social media, or use it incorrectly/inappropriately) - I have not been able to contact him. Despite emails, even international phone calls to his office in NY, messages on his social media accts - he simply does not respond.
Yes, it could be a time issue. But surely, if we communicated before (and he was the one to ask me to call him, gave me his number), it wouldn’t take a few minutes out of his day just to respond?? Even during a time of desperation, severe ill health and possibility of death - when I needed to ask for help in promoting a ‘health sale’ to pay for my medical costs, no response. Makes one wonder.
I still hold respect for Mike and like him. But I do wish that this success had not changed him - saying goes - ‘absolute power corrupts absolutely’?? Not saying that he is corrupt - far from it. And he is very generous when you can contact him (or was). I just also don’t like the older style of ‘in your face’ internet marketing anymore either, and ‘gurus’ who don’t move on from this, will eventually lose out - their remaining option - to teach others their experiences, albeit outdated experiences. I see that Mike has suffered a lot of ‘guru bashing’. Many people, in the new softer style of ‘web2 or social media marketing’ world, don’t like these older marketing tactics.
Please Mike - don’t lose what you had when you started - don’t lose sight of where you were. Don’t brush off people, whom once you were kind and generous too, but now have no time for because they are not important enough in the online world.
